Running Apparel Warehouse opened in Crofton!

For those that saw and responded regarding my post of gear testing 3 or 4 weeks ago.  The majority of you would have now received your free running gear/nutrition & technology to test.  Apologies for those who responded and did not get selected.  I have no control over who is chosen and to some degree it is done to the sizes that the manafacturers supply.  Case in point is my wife Mich who didn't get any shoes to test, just 1 top, a pair of socks and a pair of gloves!  Where as some lucky people have up to 4 pairs of shoes to test, or even 4 bras!

In total we have received almost 10k worth of equipment, admitedly, 5k of the techy stuff, watches headphones etc need to be returned! Still not a bad return :-)

Thanks to Sue Hanney who provided her living room to be a temporary warehouse for this year's gear.

Anyway, I still have some running watches that need to be tested.  I will bring them along tonight, so if you would like to test a watch, arrive at 19:50 tonight and I can provide you with a sample.

These MUST be returned and you will also need to pass them on to somebody else to test within the next 7-10 days.  You will also need to provide feedback on the watch as well.  It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do both of these things.

I also have loads of nutritional samples, gels etc that need to be tested.  First come first served tonight. (feedback required also)

Also some of the equipment provided to me, I am unable to test, so if you would like to test any of the following (you get to keep these) drop me an e-mail publicity@pettswoodrunners.org.  Fastest fingers first!  Please only e-mail me if you are going to get genuine use out of these, rather than just trying to snaffle a freebie.

Nike Terra Kiga Knit Fit Multi Surface Running Shoes - Size 9
Innov9 Trail Roc 150 Trail Shoes - Size 10 (These are very minamalist)
Dare 2 B - Bounder Shorts - Size 34 waist (My left leg is 34, no chance of me getting in these)

Anybody that is testing gear, feedback must be back with Jayne by 2nd September at the very latest.

Happy running and testing.

Cheers

Ray

P.S Anybody else that is testing gear, if it doesn't fit or if you relaistically won't have a chance to test something, please reply to this message and let people know what is available so we make sure that everything is tested and more people get the chance to receive some free gear.
