Assembly Leagu

The Assembly League, takes place on Thursday evenings during the summer from April to September. The six races provide competitive, fast paced runs over approximately 3 miles for men and women. Races are for club runners only and culminate in prizes for individual and team performances at the final race.

The venues are at Beckenham, Victoria Park (East London), Crystal Palace, Sutcliffe Park and occasional other venues to be confirmed

The opening and closing races of the series are held in Beckenham, based at Beckenham Cricket Club (home of Beckenham Runners). This is a 5k route which generally follows the parkrun course. There are toilets, showers, changing rooms and a bar with food at the clubhouse where the race is based.

Two more races are held in Victoria Park, based at the Victoria Park Harriers clubhouse. This is a 3.5mile, flat, two lap course wholly within Victoria Park. There are toilets, showers and changing rooms at the clubhouse.

Registration

There is no need to register in advance. Simply arrive around 30 minutes before the scheduled start time and report to the PWR representative who will have the register and race numbers. This is usually one of the club's captains but may be another PWR representative.

Enquiries

Please contact either of the club captains with any questions concerning the Assembly League
