• Payment must be made by transferring the relevant amount to the PWR Lloyds bank account (account no: 02130329 sort code: 30-93-23) with your forename initial, full surname and ‘Memb’ as the reference.
Your PWR membership application cannot be processed until both the application form AND payment have been submitted.
Please contact the Membership Secretary if you want to arrange a trial Tuesday night run or have any questions.
Fees:
First claim member: £37
*Second claim member: £15
*Second claim membership:
This means that you are already a paid up member of another running club, but wish to also run with PWR socially or competitively. If you would like to join as a second claim member, please inform the Membership Secretary of your England Athletics number (URN) and your first claim club in the Google form application.
Your PWR membership lasts from the time of joining until March 31st. Within a few days of submitting your online application/making payment, the Membership Secretary will send you a welcome email which details lots of important information about our club and what we offer.
England Athletics affiliation
When you become a member (or renew your membership with) PWR, you will automatically be registered with England Athletics.
What does membership to PWR afford you?
Apart from being a recognised member of the best local running club in the area, membership entitles you to proudly wear the PWR kit at any running event, representing our club.
Membership (and the necessary EA affiliation) often means that you can get discounted rates for entering events and races - you would need to tick the ‘affiliated’ box on race entries and will need to provide your England Athletics URN to validate this.
Petts Wood Runners is a very supportive club to all members and we are proud to encourage participation in running both socially and competitively.
We offer 13 differently-paced running groups on our weekly Tuesday evening club run. The first Tuesday of every month is ‘move up,’ week where runners are encouraged to try out the next group if they wish to progress their running capabilities.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
• We are a non-profit making club; your fees pay for the funding or coaching and equipment that we require.
• We do not have a junior section of the club; members must be aged 18 years and above.
