I am pleased to inform of two new club records:
Steve Burnett set a new M60 club record at last weekend’s Greenwich 10K in a time of 45:46, beating his own record of 46:35 set at Richmond in October last year. Emma Crawford set a new F35 club record at today’s Brighton Half Marathon in a time of 1:26:29, beating her own record of 1:27:49 set at Tunbridge Wells in February 2016. Both performances have been added to the Club Records page. Congratulations to both of you. *** THIS PLACE IS NOW TAKEN ***
You may recall we gained a small number of club places for the 2017 Brighton Marathon. Unfortunately, one of the places has become available due to injury. Brighton Marathon has informed me we can reallocate this place as the registration has not been fully completed. Registration must be fully completed by Monday 20 February 2017. If you would like the opportunity to take part, please reply to this e-mail – first response gets the place. Please be aware that the cost of entry is £69.50 and is not paid by the club.
