New Members - How can you join? You are welcome to pop along to Willet Rec, Crossway, any Tuesday, introduce yourselves and join us for a run. Any member will make you more than welcome if you just say hi. If you like what we have to offer, membership is only £27. Your membership lasts from the time of joining until March 31st 2020. Please pay your membership after you have run with us for 2 weeks, more details about our runs are here. £27 is a lot of fun for just over £2 a month! When you become a member of or renew your membership with Petts Wood Runners, you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics and your membership card with your EA number will come through to you in a few weeks. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with England Athletics, please contact [email protected].
Your details will not be used by PWR for anything other than emailing you regarding Club events. You will be emailed each week with the newsletter.

Membership entitles you to wear the Petts Wood Runners kit at any running event and to join in any of our fun events. Please see Kit Page to find out about our official kit and where to buy it.
Within a fortnight or so of submitting your form, you will get a welcome email from the Membership Secretary giving you more information, but please also look around this website for information about all our activities. Please be patient if you do not hear from us as soon as you would like!
Second claim membership means that you are already a member of a running club elsewhere but wish to run with PWR as well and sometimes for PWR in competitions and races. Please inform us of your EA number if you know and your first claim club.
The £27.00 fee consists of £12 to PWR and a mandatory £15 for England Athletics Membership. By being an EA member, you will usually save £2-£3 on entry fees for most running events in the UK. You will be able to tick the “Affiliated” box on race entries which qualifies you for the discount.
You will receive your EA card within around 8 weeks. Once you are a registered athlete you can view and edit your details on the England Athletics portal
We do not have a junior section; members must be 15 years and above.
We are a non profit making club; your fees pay for the funding of coaching and equipment that we require.
