WEEKLY CLUB RUNS
Tuesday night - club runs
Our regular club night is on a Tuesday when we meet between 6:45pm and 6.55pm for a 7pm start. Depending on the weather, we can have anything from 70 to almost 200 people turn up for the runs at Willett Recreation Ground. There are thirteen groups - led by experienced runners - that run different distances and paces, catering for a wide range of abilities. Distances usually range from 3 miles to 8 miles at paces from about 12 minutes per mile to below 7:30 minutes per mile. When the weather permits we like to run in the woods and sometimes even when it doesn't we run in the woods anyway.
New runners can try one session for free, prior to committing to membership.
Thursday evening - track
Track Sessions are held at 8pm at the Norman Park Track. There is a £6 charge for using the track, but PWR coaching is free. Summer months tend to focus on 5 and 10k speed sessions, with Marathon focused groups added over winter to support our runners as they all prepare for their Spring challenges. This session is perfect for those wanting to add some structured training under the guidance of an experienced coach. Suitable for all speeds and abilities.
Thursday morning interval training
Informal, self organised interval training sessions every Thursday morning in Norman Park. Meet at the Hook Lane carpark at 8.55am for a 9am start.
Thursday evenings - circuits
Structured sessions held at 6:45pm during the summer months at the grass track at Darrick wood. This is a more general and relaxed session than Track, but still designed and overseen by a PWR coach. Focus will be general running improvement. Suitable for all speeds and abilities.

Social runs
Thursday & Sunday mornings - LSR
Club members meet at Willett Rec for self organised, social runs.
These runs are generally organised on an ad-hoc basis with groups formed on the day depending on the number of runners and the distance and/or pace that people would like to run. Please email [email protected], ask on the Facebook group or in Strava chats if you would like more information.
