LAVENDER RUN
The ever-popular lavender run is going ahead on Sunday 12th July 2026!
This is a really enjoyable social run - an out-and-back route, starting in Shoreham, exploring the lavender fields of Castle Hill Farm, heading through Lullingstone and onto Eynesford for a paddle in the stream if the weather is good to us.
As always there will be a group to suit all abilities, and then there are a few options for distance and so starting location:
Option 1: ALL GROUPS
10km out and back route starting at Shoreham at 8.30am. Meet at Filston lane Car Park, TN14 7SP from 8.15am, for an 8.30am start. Parking is FREE here.
Option 2: ALL GROUPS
5.7km out and back route starting at Lullingstone Visitor Centre at 9 am (Castle Road, DA4 0JF). Group leaders will collect you en route from Shoreham.
Option 3: ALL GROUPS, BUT LIKELY TO BE AT GROUP 7-9 PACE
The route starts and ends further out at Otford (15k in total - meet at Otford Village car Park, TN14 5PQ at 8.15am). This group will pass through the car park at Shoreham at 8.30am to collect any group 7-9 runners who only want to complete the 10k route.
MOB MATCH v ORPINGTON ROAD RUNNERS
A mob match is a traditional head-to-head running competition between clubs where success relies heavily on team turnout rather than just individual speed. Every finisher’s position translates into points (e.g., 1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2 points), and the team with the lowest aggregate score wins.
This is a yearly tradition against the Orpington Runners, and this year it takes place at 8pm on 7th July 2026 at Goddington Park.
